Coronado Family Photos
Want to know my absolute favorite beach for family photos here in San Diego? It’s at Coronado Beach, right by the Hotel Del! There are obviously so many beautiful beaches in San Diego, but Coronado is at the top of my list for favorite beaches. Here are 3 reasons I think this is one of the best beaches in San Diego for family photos!
Beautiful White Sand Beaches at Coronado for Family Photos
One of the biggest perks of this beach is the clean sand here! I really love the look of bright, white sand for family photos. It makes the images look so bright and clean! Coronado beach has a big wide open beach that makes for some incredible family photos!
Coronado is Less Busy
Aside from major holidays during the warmer months, Coronado is acutally less busy than other San Diego beaches. I think the fact that the beach here is absolutely huge, it makes plenty of room for people to spread out. I love this for family photos because we have plenty of space for a beauitful backdrop, where just your family is in the photo!
More than just a beach
Another favorite feature from Coronado is the variety we’re able to see at this beach. Across the water we have a beautiful view of Point Loma. We also have the iconic Hotel Del Coronado that we can use as a backdrop for some photos. My clients from out of town really love this, as it shows an iconic San Diego landmark as a memory for their photos. This beach also has some beautiful sand dunes, that I think are super beautiful! They have greenery and sometimes flowers amongst them, it’s absolutely gorgeous!
Coronado Family Photos
All of this being said, San Diego is filled for miles with absolutely stunning beaches. I also love taking clients to La Jolla cove, especially if they want more cliffs and rocks in their photos. If your family has a special beach you have fond memories at, I always think that’s a really special location to take your family photos at too!
My family sessions are relaxed, laid-back experiences where your little ones can play freely and your family can enjoy time together.
