They are owned by Trademark Venues, which manages a collection of California Landmark gardens and venues in San Diego that are all ideal for a magical, romantic wedding. Being part of a larger collection of venues, Twin Oaks is a relatively all-inclusive space, making pulling off your dream wedding even easier than you originally imagined. With the help of their in-house planners and coordinators, you’ll be in incredible, experienced, and highly capable hands. They can kick back, relax, and reminisce with a drink in hand.
Details of the Grounds
Begin your wedding day at Twin Oaks House in the Bridal Parlor, decorated in authentic hand-carved European furnishings and boasting ten-foot glass windows. An enormous full-length Parisian platformed mirror is perfect for full-body shots of your incredible gown as you move onto your finishing touches before walking down the aisle. Don’t worry; your partner and their party will be just as comfortable in the private Gentleman’s Clubhouse. They can kick back, relax, and reminisce with a drink in hand, getting ready for an incredible celebration.
Your ceremony will be held outdoors in one of four locations. The Natural Forest is an open-air perfect for nature lovers and great for customizing. Beneath the forest canopy are two trickling streams and waterfalls, which can be framed by a unique arch, chuppah, or backdrop if you choose. Another ceremony site is the Wooden Turn-Post Gazebo, surrounded by lush gardens in the heart of the forest. The Rustic Atrium offers a more intimate setting tucked away with poetic vines. Lastly, the Braided Ivy Archway and Fountain offer a beautiful, natural backdrop for a vow exchange, covered in beautiful twinkling lights.
Following your fairy tale ceremony, you can gather in their grand tented pavilion for your reception. Adorned with chiffon drapery and spectacular crystal chandeliers, it’s a beautiful blank canvas for you to interpret as your own perfect wedding vision.
Photography Opportunities
Twin Oaks is home to some of the area’s most beautiful gardens, and we’ll put them to good use as stunning photo backdrops. Beautiful features like their Braided Ivy Archway make for one-of-a-kind portraits, like something straight out of a storybook (and it’s even better as the sun sets and the twinkle lights come to life.) Beautiful gazebos and greenhouses are wonderful settings for pictures, as are the surrounding forests and trees. If you choose to do a First Look, then we’ll have plenty of private, romantic sites from which to choose, too.
Wedding Details
One of the best parts of having your wedding at Twin Oaks is the amount of work, thought, and details they’ll put into your wedding for you. They have a huge inventory of candelabras, vases, votives, shepherd’s hooks, and plenty of other decor you can use for your wedding. Choose from 38 colors of linen napkins to compliment your theme. Of course, you can always bring in your own decor and linens. It just helps to have some options included in your venue budget.
Twin Oaks is also home to a team of wedding planning professionals who will help you throughout your planning process, as well as for your rehearsal and on the day of your wedding. Additionally, they have a private executive chef with experience in catering for large groups. You’ll have the opportunity to plan your own distinct menu, utilizing the chef’s talents and innovation to create something truly unique.
