Balboa Park

San Diego, California

If you want a vintage San Diego location, I don’t think you can do any better than Balboa Park! This space offers 1,200 acres with historic landmarks everywhere you turn. For your ceremony, you can choose between gardens, courtyards, and museums. After your service, you can spend some time exploring the park before grabbing some food at one of their many restaurants.

Sunset Cliffs Natural Park

Ladera Street, San Diego, California 92107

Sunset Cliffs Natural Park has always been my recommendation for adventurous couples. With this spot, you will have 68 acres where you can celebrate with your partner. You can host your ceremony on the rugged coastline with the Pacific Ocean ust beyond your view. This area becomes especially magical at night when the sun starts to set!

Carlsbad Cliffs

Carlsbad, California 92008

If you are looking for another jaw-dropping spot surrounded by nature, I think you will adore Carlsbad Cliffs! This area is perched in the middle of the beach with white sand and crystal-clear water. While you might get some crowds, this area tends to be less crowded than many other San Diego locations. You’ll also be near several lodging and food options once your ceremony is over.

The park is next to Del Mar, giving you the perfect spot to celebrate once you’ve said your vows!
