JR Lifeguards Summer Camps in San Diego
This summer camp in San Diego is especially for the beach lover! The San Diego Junior Lifeguard Program offers youth – ages 7 through 17 – an opportunity to learn from professional lifeguards. It is a skills-based program designed to introduce and expand knowledge of the ocean and the coastal environment. Students gain a wide variety of skills and knowledge including:
- how to enjoy the beach safely
- ocean and wave education

New Childrens Museum Camps
The New Children’s Museum offers camps (ages 4 – 9) and summer studios (ages 10 – 12) that are project-based and taught by professional artist-educators. The program encourages young artists to work individually and in small groups and offers activities where they can think, play, and create. All camps and studios include classroom time to explore projects and learn new skills as well as opportunities to enjoy the Museum. Family and friends are invited each Friday to exhibitions to view artwork created during the week. Each week has a different theme every week, so children are continually learning!
